I play plenty of music. I’ve played guitar since I was 12-ish, and got my first acoustic of my very own when I was 15 – a no-name acoustic that my sister Beth bought in Mexico for $18. She gave it to me and showed my my first chords, on the condition that I would play it in church sometime. I’ve played that guitar in many churches, so I consider the debt paid.

I’ve always leaned towards playing original music; I played in cover bands only when I was getting started playing. It was fun, and it’s still fun to learn a new song now and again, but I’ve always been a songwriter of some sort in whatever band I’m playing in.

I’ll post some stuff up here eventually for people to peruse. I’ve come a long way over my life.
